We are excited to return to the Tideway for the 2024 Boat Races. Our journey together started back in September with a fabulous mixture of new faces and returners. We had the big task of integrating new athletes, building a robust team culture, and developing each athlete physiologically and technically. Like true Cambridge students, this group is unbelievably curious and approached every single session as a learning opportunity. They attacked every hard session and were never afraid to take risks to find more speed.

As the season progressed, I soon learned that this wasn’t a temporary phase – this was just who we were. I am still continually impressed by the athletes’ drive, commitment, and dedication to becoming the fastest versions of themselves. They supported one another relentlessly, picked each other up on tough days, and quickly gelled into one of the closest crews I have ever experienced. I am beyond proud of what we have created this season, and I cannot wait for our big performance on race day.

Now that we are in the final stages of our campaign, we are putting the finishing touches on each crew and building confidence every day. We are eager to line up on race day and show the world what we can do.

I want to give a massive thank you to Paddy Ryan, Matilda Horn and Bronya Sykes, whose tireless coaching were critical in the development of our crews, both on and off the water. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our supporters, friends and family who have been behind us every single step of the way.
